SEM appoints new CFO ahead of pivotal year

SEM, the award-winning sustainable technology company, appoints Adrian Morley as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure the right level of financial support and the continuation of the growth strategy.

Green Technologies and Sustainable Solutions

Adrian joins SEM with over 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant. He has worked in senior financial positions across Europe, the Middle East and China, and played a critical part in his previous role, raising Biffa’s annual EBITDA from £16m to £125m.

Adrian Morley, Chief Financial Officer of SEM said:

“Joining SEM is a unique opportunity to combine my skills and experience across technology and the waste and environmental sectors. After the initial roll-out of our low-carbon priority environmental waste management technologies – PLUTUS and H2OPE – in the local market, the business will be well-positioned for more rapid growth and development overseas.”

Grant Leslie, Chief Operating Officer of SEM, added:

“We are delighted that Adrian is joining us, and supporting our leadership team in the company’s most exciting phase to date. His appointment is a timely one given the growth in ESG and Impact investment.”

SEM as a sustainable technology solutions company collaborates with stakeholders across the agriculture, aquaculture, distillery and biogas markets to implement tailored end-to-end solutions for the treatment of waste products and wastewater, the recovery of nutrients, and the generation of valuable new by-products.
